Noor Calendar ("the App") is an Islamic diary and Hijri/Gregorian calendar application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2.1 Information Stored Locally (On Your Device Only)

• App preferences — language, theme, selected city
• Tasks and habits — your personal task list and habit tracking data
• Tasbih counter — your count totals
• Athkar progress — your remembrance tracking
• Purchase status — whether you have purchased the full version

This data is stored using the device's local storage and is never transmitted to any server.

2.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• We do not use analytics or tracking services
• We do not use advertising SDKs
• We do not collect device identifiers
• We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies
• We do not create user accounts

3. How We Use Your Information

All data stored by the App is used solely to provide the App's core functionality:

• Displaying accurate prayer times for your selected city
• Calculating Qibla direction
• Managing your personal tasks and habits
• Tracking your Tasbih and Athkar progress
• Displaying the correct Hijri date and Islamic holidays
• Remembering your language and theme preferences

4. In-App Purchases

Noor Calendar offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial period, a one-time in-app purchase of $3.99 is required to continue using the app. Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store any payment information — all payment processing is handled securely by Google.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any user data with third parties. No personal data leaves your device.

6. Data Storage and Security

All App data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers or cloud storage. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data exists only on your device for as long as the App is installed. To delete all App data:

• Uninstall Noor Calendar from your device, or
• Go to Settings → Apps → Noor Calendar → Clear Data

8. Children's Privacy

Noor Calendar does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require registration and does not collect any personal data from any user, regardless of age.

9. Third-Party Services

• Google Play Services — for app distribution, updates, and in-app purchases. Google's Privacy Policy

The App does not integrate any advertising networks, analytics tools, or social media SDKs.

10. Permissions

• Approximate Location (optional) — used to auto-detect your nearest city for accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. This is entirely optional — you can deny location access and manually select your city at any time. Location data is processed only on your device and is never sent to any server.
• Internet — required for Google Play Billing (in-app purchases)
• Billing — required to process in-app purchases
• Notifications — for prayer time reminders (optional)
• Vibration — for Tasbih counter haptic feedback
• Exact Alarms — for precise prayer time notifications
• Boot Completed — to restore alarms after device restart

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
